Keels and Wheels

Every May, the biggest collection of wooden boats and classic cars in the country comes to Seabrook for display at the Lakewood Yacht Club. Check out these beauties May 6 and 7 at this family-friendly event where you can learn more about marine and auto history. Attendees come from all over the world to explore this mesmerizing show, and of course to experience that famed Texas hospitality first-hand.

For 2017, the event kicks off at 10 a.m. with the concours opening to the public and People’s Choice ballots being handed out. At noon, the ReMax skydiving team lands on the cabana greens, starting off the Kid’s Build-a-Boat event. The Boater Award Ceremony happens poolside at 3 p.m., but boat building continues until 5.

Sunday Funday

Sunday’s fun begins at 9 a.m., and once more, the skydiving team showcases a dramatic noon landing. You won’t want to miss the Car Award Ceremony at the tent or the raffle car driving at 3:30! Tickets are discounted in advance at just $25 per adult or $30 at the gate. Children ten and under always enter free.

Known as one of the leading concours events in the country, all proceeds benefit local charities. Thus far, Keels and Wheels have raised $1.6 million and counting, all while offering one of the most renowned festivals in the area. Check out the biggest Seabrook show of the year!
