Seabrook’s Mediterranean and Greek Cuisine

Staying along the Kemah Boardwalk means no visit to Seabrook is complete without some seriously fresh and delicious seafood. Mediterranean and Greek cuisine highlight these stars perfectly, and Bakkhus Taverna does it right with home-style Greek dishes including spicy Trojan poppers, spanakopita, house-made hummus and pita, moussaka, souvlaki and other staples.

Try Skipper’s Café, a Greek landmark famous for breakfast. Here, you’ll find kielbasa and eggs with home fries, grits, toast or bacon along with the spinach omelet platter (add feta for extra flavor). The stuffed tomato with tuna salad served with chips is the perfect lunch choice, or check out the gyro omelet with extra feta.

Gone Greek?

Al Basha Mediterranean Grill is a local favorite where you’ll find homemade favorites like falafel, pasta salad, thick tzatziki sauce on the side, a veggie plate with your choice of four sides, and kebab sandwiches. Save time, and order online. Al Basha’s is perfect for business meetings and catering, too!

At Sokols’ Greek Deli Café, you’ll discover a low-key eatery with a variety of gyros, Athenian salad options, classics like saganaki featuring kasseri cheese flambéed tableside, and roasted leg of lamb. Try the grilled tilapia, keftedes (Greek meatballs) and pasticcio (pasta with ground meat topped with béchamel) for a real taste of Greece.
